Martha Cavasos-Fipps wanted to share pictures of the little daffodil demonstration garden she started in an empty city flower bed.  She had students from the Imagine Academy Charter School here in McKinney help here plant about 300 bulbs in the space.  They planted all of the test bulbs (from Michigan)  that she got at the last TDS meeting, along with others she purchased locally at Shades of Green in Frisco.  There are 14 varieties, each planted around stakes for identification.

Eleven schools are participating in the Daffodil program this year.  This little demonstration garden will serve as a space where the public can see a variety of bulbs.  Martha hopes to expand the garden to include other varieties in the years to come.
